What is M而且atory 培训?
The completion of m而且atory employee training is required of all 威斯康辛大学系统 employees at hire 而且 then with retraining requirements listed below
- Title IX / Sexual Harassment (retraining required every 3 years)
- Information Security (retraining required annually)
- M而且ated Reporter (required once after 10/1/2019)
What is the Timeframe for Completing 培训?
The timeframe to complete a training course is 30 days from the date of the email notification that alerts an employee to the course requirement.
Courses are online 而且 self-paced. Your progress 通过 the course is retained if you leave 而且 return to the course later.

How do I know if I need to take a course?
A notification email will be sent from serviceoperations@uwss.威斯康辛州.edu to you indicating that a course is due. If the course is not completed within 14 days a reminder email will be sent, a second reminder email is sent if not completed after 21 days. If you have questions or need technical support for these m而且atory trainings, you can contact serviceoperations@uwss.威斯康辛州.edu.
Once notified, employees need to enroll in the courses 通过 their 我的UW门户using the buttons on the m而且atory training tile.
IMPORTANT: You must “re-enroll” 通过 我的UW门户 each time you re-take a course to ensure you are taking the appropriate 而且 most current version of the courses. You CAN NOT simply retake the old course that may still be on your canvas dashboard, it WILL NOT be accepted!

Reminder emails may also be sent periodically by our office via firstname.lastname@example.org. Notices that an employee has a past due course will also come from email@example.com.
How can I tell if I completed a course?
On their current year e-performance evaluation, employees are able to see their “last notified” 而且 “last completed” dates for each course within e-performance on the “m而且atory training” tab. Last notified is the most recent date that the course was assigned to you. Last completed is the most recent date you completed that course. If you are current on your course assignments your last completed dates should fall after your last notified dates.
If an employee would prefer, they can also email firstname.lastname@example.org to have our office look up their record 而且 send them their current status information. Departmental status reports can also be pulled for department chairs 而且/or division leaders.
Can I remove old courses from my canvas dashboard?
Canvas typically continues to display the course card on your dashboard even after you complete it, which can be confusing. 如果你愿意, you can utilize the “favorites active courses” option in canvas to remove a completed course from your canvas dashboard. 这是一个 link to some instructions on how to utilize the “favorites” to keep your dashboard clear of completed courses.

ADA for Supervisors
UW Oshkosh’s policy is to provide reasonable accommodations for employees with qualified disabilities. This training covers information supervisors need to know regarding compliance with the ADA, including the reasonable accommodation request form 而且 interactive process.
Equity Coordinator 培训
This training will teach participants the responsibilities of a tenure observer, pursuant to Faculty Personnel Rules 第四章.B.10(3)(b)而且 C.3(3); as well as a search 而且 screen committee representative pursuant to 政府6.4(2.3).
